Fire and Sky Pottery Studio and Art Center
We are a working creative space for all artists, whether you are a complete novice who has never worked with a potter’s wheel or you are showing in a gallery, we offer you the space, tools, wheels, tables, kiln, classes, and community of artisans to support the education and evolution of your work. Join our family as a member, where you can come during almost all hours to work individually on your own projects, or take a class in wheel or hand-building. Schedule a party or team-building event with your friends and work colleagues – or take a two hour introduction class to give us a try.
We can’t wait for you to sit with us at the fire, sipping your favorite drink in a cup you made yourself, while looking up at the big beautiful sky. Join our community.
Classes
We offer beginner through advanced wheel lessons and handbuilding in group and private sessions.
Membership
Join the Fire & Sky community as a studio member by first taking classes with us; when you are ready and space is available, we would love for you to join us as a member. Check-in with your teacher or send Lissa a text when you are ready.

I’m so happy there is a studio in radford. Beautiful natural lighting and so many other features that the last studio I used lacked. Everyone is friendly and welcoming especially the instructors. Great perks for members.

Oh gosh, this place is just the best! The teachers and staff are kind, supportive, and so knowledgeable. Everyone brings unique touches to the studio that create a very welcoming environment. If you want to see some of the teachers’ work, visit the Radford Coffee Company! It’s all beautiful ❤️ The space also has a slab roller, plenty of wheels, a big kiln, and lots of flat spaces for building
